Overview

The Sales Representative I, License - Oracle Consulting Services, is responsible for the identification, positioning and sales of services in synergy with the related DLT Oracle license and renewal account teams.  They will be primarily focused on driving the resale of Oracle Consulting Services and/or Advanced Customer Services, including technical services and system integration projects (both Cloud and on-prem) related to Oracle-based solutions.  The OCS/ACS Account Manager will use technical acumen, relationship development and consultative/solutions selling skills to increase DLT's share of Oracle professional services business.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Oracle Consulting and Oracle Advance Customer Services Team
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationship with Oracle Sale Reps and Managers
  • Formulate targeted territory strategy
  • Strategically drive new business in close synergy with license account teams
  • Position DLT-led Oracle security and web solutions and standard implementation methodologies to meet customer requirements
  • Build value-added relationships within Government agencies and FSI to become the trusted advisor
  • Effectively uncover client needs and including budgets and decision-making processes
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities across the breadth of DLT Oracle customer base
  • Align with appropriate sales districts to represent the Enterprise Applications Team and applicable OCS/ACS offerings for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for the bookings forecast of OCS/ACS business in assigned accounts
  • Build strong relationships with Oracle OCS/ACS Sales reps, education them on DLT’s full capability and become the “go-to” partner for all offerings
  • Knowledge and Experience:
  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of experience selling technical engagement in the consulting or professional services arena specific to the government
  • Proven OCS/ACS experience - effectively communicating and establishing relationships at the CIO and Director level within Federal organizations and Systems Integrators
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • State and Local experience is preferred
  • Strong Sales background
  • Field Sales a plus
  • Knowledge of Cloud Solutions Sales
  • Experience with RFP cycle
  • Experience working with project accounting, contracts and PMO to get deals booked

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent information gathering skills
  • Experience working with clients and communicating with them through design documents, written proposals, presentations and developing a tight procurement schedule
  • Managing full sales cycle and developing new accounts
