Overview

The Sales Operations Manager is a key position in DLT's Sales organization.  The candidate will interact with each DLT Sales Leader to help them make data-driven decisions that will increase sales and enable the teams to work efficiently.  The Sales Operations Manager will own Sales' metrics, reports, and dashboards and work with each division so they better understand their customers, clients, and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Improve productivity by evaluating and implementing Sales technology
  • Maintain revenue forecast tracking, sales metrics, and dashboard reports
  • Provide analytical sales reporting to management as required
  • Assist in evaluating current Sales systems and propose enhancements as identified
  • Assist in the implementation of new Sales processes
  • Participate in quality management workgroups
  • Ensure data quality and integrity within all DLT Sales systems
  • Assist with resolving Help Desk tickets related to Sales systems
  • Assist with drafting end user business requirements for system enhancements

Knowledge and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience with program or project management, acquisition, sourcing and procurement within the federal IT industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • General understanding of government contracting – with emphasis on software asset acquisition and management
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting projects

Skills and Abilities

  • General understanding of Government contracting.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop consensus and drive cross divisional teams to achieve company goals.
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to manage and resolve conflict.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
