The Sales Associate will be responsible for business development and sales assistance for the Enterprise Applications, National Security Group. They will work closely with Sales and Marketing to generate and execute on campaigns for the Intelligence Community. They will assist the sales team with the appropriate process, generate leads with new current users and develop relationships with the Oracle National Security Group.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with both the customer and Oracle National Security Group
  • Undertake prospecting efforts into key targeted accounts to sell the Oracle product line
  • Work with the DLT marketing team to compile strategic lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from a variety of lead sources
  • Support the Enterprise Applications sales team with RFx responses, prospecting, internal/external processes, quoting and other related duties
  • Prepare price quotes/bill of materials for simple requests
  • Assist in investigating and resolving customer problems
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts
  • Document sales efforts, conversations and related customer contact in DLT's CRM tool (SMaRT)
  • Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding all goals
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required and at least 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Computer literate; comfortable working in a database environment

  • Strong time management skills
  • Stronger interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal)
