DLT is looking for a dynamic, proactive, and proven specialist to join the Corporate Marketing team as a PR and Social Media Strategist | Marketing Communications.

The PR and Social Media Strategist | Marketing Communications will work in close partnership with both the Director and VP of marketing, as well as across the marketing team and other groups to support the DLT brand and client co-marketing objectives. This role is responsible for building awareness for DLT and supporting lead generation efforts through the development of compelling marketing content and communications plans.


The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology and business challenges facing government agencies, and able to produce and promote marketing content (social media, email campaigns, blogs, case studies, landing pages, videos, etc) to support DLT’s marketing initiatives. He/she owns the development and implementation of strategic communications plans. Essential to this position are strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership and being highly collaborative across the organization.


  • Understand company positioning and messaging
  • Work closely with management and PR firm to coordinate, create and distribute press releases, byline articles and schedule press interviews with/for senior leadership
  • Manage the Marketing Content Calendar and DLT Style Guide to ensure uniform writing style and tone across all communications
  • Support corporate marketing efforts and company branding initiatives
  • Strategize, develop and deploy content marketing plans in support of team and company objectives
  • Coordinate and manage blog creation with internal stakeholders
  • Manage the ongoing growth and engagement of/with the DLT blog
  • Draft and distribute internal marketing communications, including corporate campaigns and press releases
  • Create and edit various marketing materials (website, blogs, email campaigns, brochures, video scripts, leadership messaging) 
  • Promote content and campaigns created by vendor marketing team across social media and the web (where appropriate) in support of demand generation initiatives
  • Actively engage internal and external audiences to build and grow brand via social media
  • Manage and report on all social media activities across platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook for both paid and organic campaigns
  • Regularly update company website, adding content for new vendors, events, news and resources
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge and Experience

  • 4-5 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in content development or web marketing
  • 4-year degree in marketing, communications, English or similar field
  • Strong background in using social media for business
  • Able to articulate IT solutions in a business-focused message and understand the needs of the target audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices
