DLT is looking for a dynamic, proactive, and proven leader to join the Corporate Marketing team as Manager, Corporate Communications.

 

The Manager, Marketing Communications will work in close partnership with both the Campaign Management and Marketing Operations leaders and report to the VP of Marketing, as well as across the marketing team and other groups to support the DLT brand and client co-marketing objectives. This position oversees the PR/Social Media, Web Management, and Digital Design functions for DLT.   This person will own internal/external communications, public and media relations, press releases, editorial opportunities, award submissions, website content management, creative services, and internal and external branding strategies.

 

This role is responsible for helping to develop, execute, and manage the DLT brand position, build awareness for DLT and support client acquisition efforts through compelling and relevant brand presentations and materials. The role is also responsible for working closely with HR on branding programs & and internal communications and in assisting sales lead generation efforts through the development of compelling marketing content and communications plans.

 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology and business challenges facing government agencies, and able to produce and promote marketing content (social media, email campaigns, blogs, case studies, landing pages, videos, etc) to support DLT’s marketing initiatives. He/she owns the development and implementation of strategic communications plans. Essential to this position are strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership and being highly collaborative across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage company positioning and messaging
  • Work closely with management and PR firm to coordinate strategic media opportunities
  • Manage the execution of brand initiatives across multiple platforms including social media, award submissions, the web, as well as direct and email marketing.
  • Work closely with VP of HR to establish communication and training plans for branding initiatives and programs tied to DLT's career pages, hiring practices, and recruitment efforts
  • Develop and manage the Marketing Content Calendar and DLT Style Guide to ensure uniform writing style and tone across all communications
  • Strategize, develop and deploy content marketing plans in support of team and company objectives
  • Draft and distribute internal marketing communications, including corporate campaigns and press releases
  • Create and edit various marketing materials (website, blogs, email campaigns, brochures, video scripts, leadership messaging)
  • Promote content and campaigns created by vendor marketing team across web and social media channels
  • Actively engage internal and external audiences to build and grow brand via social media
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in content development or web marketing
  • Strong background in managing brand activities for business
  • Able to articulate IT solutions in a business-focused message and understand the needs of the target audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices
