    Overview: As a Senior Sales Representative I you will develop relationships with our vendor partner, McAfee within the public sector organizations. You'll position and cross-sell solutions and services as you expand our accounts with key customers. As a Senior Sales Representative I, you will work closely with DLT's sales support teams to ensure a superior customer experience with our vendor partner offerings. You will combine your sales skills and technical knowledge of enterprise software to establish long-term relationships with our key customers, generate pipeline, and grow DLT's business.   

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain geographic or public sector specific territory
    • Conduct strategic planning including call planning, account planning, and territory planning
    • Develops successful relationships with vendor representatives and customers
    • Makes outbound contact with potential and existing customers to follow-up on open opportunities, qualify leads, sell products and services
    • Engage in prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and performs initial customer needs assessment
    • Manage business and customer activity and data in CRM
    • Manage and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting 
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
    • Continuing education maintaining and updating knowledge of products, selling skills, processes and sales tools
    • Achieve assigned sales quota
    • Some potential travel throughout assigned territory to visit customers or to attend trade shows 
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 years relevant quota carrying sales experience
    • Proven ability to attain and exceed sales quota goals
    • Ability to build and sustain quality relationships, while providing excellent customer service
    • Demonstrate effective selling skills including communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate to effectively sell on the phone 
    • Experience using and managing CRM 
    • Proven experience forecasting within +/- 10% accuracy consistently

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Business Acumen 
    • Experience working and closing complex deals
    • Experience selling to the public sector
