    As a Sales Representative I Combo, with the DLT ForeScout team, you will partner with inside, and field sales professionals to uncover new sales opportunities within an assigned territory - SLED. You'll identify, nurture, and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts on a quarterly basis, and track customer data. This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to improve business and create solutions that serve both vendor and DLT customers. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain geographic or public sector specific territory
    • Develops successful relationships with vendor representatives and customers
    • Provide sales support to vendor partner sales professionals 
    • Makes outbound contact with potential and existing customers to follow-up on open opportunities, qualify leads, sell products and services
    • Engage in prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and performs initial customer needs assessment
    • Follow up on renewal opportunities to win pending customer renewals
    • Manage business, customer activity, and data in CRM
    • Manage and maintain sales pipeline and forecasting accuracy 
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems
    • Continuing eduction maintaining and updating product knowledge, selling skills, and sales tools
    • Achieve assigned sales quota
    • Achieve sales call metrics 
    • Some potential travel throughout assigned territory to visit customers or to attend trade shows
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 1+ years relevant quota carrying sales experience
    • Proven ability to attain and exceed sales quota goals
    • Ability to build and sustain quality relationships, while providing excellent customer service
    • Ability to sell over the phone and conduct cold calls 
    • Demonstrate effective selling skills including communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
    • Experience using and managing CRM  

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Business Acumen 
    • Previous sales experience in IT and/or public sector sales
    • Experience with sales forecasting
