The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving net new sales revenues and renewals in the FED/ SLED/ Commercial markets for the Emerging Technology/Akamai. This person will be located at DLT; and work primarily with vendors and DLT counterparts, supporting the existing and future business lines. This person will report directly to the Emerging Technology manager based on sector; and, will need to be skilled at working both horizontally and vertically across the sales organizations of DLT and within the vendor along with the assigned territory of customers across all sectors of business.


  • Work within the existing customer base to find new opportunities to bring to the Akamai account and generate additional revenue for the team
  • Must be able to produce outbound proactive call blitzes and meet 50 calls per day average
  • Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business/Marketing preferred)
  • Prior experience within the technology and/or government marketplace
