Overview

The Business Operations Manager is a key go-to resource who is sought after by every department in the company to help solve their business process issues.  The successful candidate will support the company by reviewing existing processes and systems and making recommendations to improve efficiency.  They'll follow established processes to determine the effectiveness of current activities and assists with developing improvement solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of operational policies and procedures (company-wide)
  • Assist in evaluating current systems and propose enhancements as identified
  • Assist in the implementation of new processes
  • Participate in quality management workgroups
  • Ensure data quality and integrity within all DLT systems
  • Assist with resolving Help Desk tickets related to corporate systems
  • Assist with drafting end user business requirements for system enhancements
  • Generate and disseminate monthly Standard Operating Procedure reports to Management

Knowledge and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience with program or project management, acquisition, sourcing and procurement within the federal IT industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • General understanding of government contracting – with emphasis on software asset acquisition and management
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting projects

Skills and Abilities

  • General understanding of Government contracting
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop consensus and drive cross divisional teams to achieve company goals
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to manage and resolve conflict
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
