  • Overview

    The Senior Sales Representative I, License is responsible for selling Autodesk software and services to US Federal Government customers over the telephone by performing the following duties:

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain Federal Government customers
    • Drive net new sales
    • Conduct strategic planning including call planning, account planning, and territory planning
    • Develop successful relationships with vendor representatives and customers
    • Make outbound contact with potential and existing customers to follow-up on open opportunities, qualify leads, sell products and services
    • Engage in prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and performs initial customer needs assessment
    • Manage business, customer activity, and data in CRM
    • Manage and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting 
    • Investigate and resolve customer problems
    • Continue education maintaining and updating knowledge of products, selling skills, processes and sales tools
    • Achieve assigned sales quota
    • Some potential travel throughout assigned territory to visit customers or to attend trade shows 
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: College Degree
    • 3-5 years relevant quota carrying sales experience
    • Proven ability to attain and exceed sales quota goals
    • Ability to build and sustain quality relationships, while providing excellent customer service
    • Demonstrate effective selling skills including communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience using and managing CRM 
    • Proven experience forecasting within +/- 10% accuracy consistently

    • Experience working and closing complex deals
