Overview

The Sales Associate must have the ability to make a high volume of phone calls and use that to find new opportunities as well as promote webinars, marketing events, and other opportunities as identified.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to followup on renewals, leads, and lists provided for prospecting
  • Update data for current customers into DLT CRM database
  • Attend training as assigned for effective phone techniques and product knowledge necessary
  • Learn softwares in order to promote different vendors
  • Other related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business preferred)
  • Prior experience within the technology and/or government marketplace is preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to motivate self and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point, and Outlook, at proficient levels
  • Strong customer service skills. Ability to interact in a positive manner internally and externally
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to understand verbal/written instruction
