    DLT is looking for a motivated Market Analyst with an innate sense of curiosity and a passion for the U.S. Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, and Intelligence markets.  As a Market Analyst within the Office of the CTO, your expertise will be called upon to provide research and analysis support for key markets and programs, industry trends, and U.S. Public Sector technology contracts and buying patterns.   In collaboration with other Office of the CTO members, you will develop knowledge products designed to raise both DLT’s and our clients’ understanding of the Federal Civilian, Department of Defense and Intelligence markets.  This position is high impact with high visibility, as you will regularly interact with customers, IT vendors, partners and executives.


    • Perform extensive market research and gather data from various sources (both online and print)
    • Conduct primary and secondary research, including finding and leveraging information from customers, industry associations, public data sets, external analysts, and marketing experts
    • Manipulate the data to evaluate the gained information
    • Evaluate key missions, IT programs, contracts, and opportunities within the Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, and Intelligence markets
    • Evaluate market penetration and identify adjacent or new market opportunities
    • Develop studies and reports about historical, current, and future market trends
    • Support the development of sales focused company strategies
    • Prepare presentations, briefings, datasheets and reports about gained market information and insights for executives, senior management and clients
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in related fields (or equivalent experience)
    • 3+ years of experience in an analyst role
    • Proven experience manipulating large data sets of questionable integrity
    • Experience gathering, cleaning and analyzing varied and unstructured/semi-structured qualitative datasets
    • Expertise with Microsoft Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience leveraging platforms like GovWin, eRepublic, SmartProcure, and similar
    • Experience with other data management, data manipulation, and statistical analysis tools (Tableau, R, Python, databases, etc.)
    • Experience developing basic SQL queries to select and retrieve datasets
    • Knowledge of the U.S. public sector (Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, Intelligence)
    • Knowledge of the U.S. public sector procurement methods
    • Experience using public data feeds from FBO, GSA, and others
    • Knowledge of the Information Technology industry (vendor, reseller, system integrator, analyst)
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills both in teams and independently
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new industries and technologies and learn quickly
    • Ability to work in an active and fast paced environment
    • Ability to develop, deliver and present finding
