This is a introductory position to contact/program management. The Contracts Assistant supports Programs and Contracts in their day-to-day activities supporting Clients, Partners and Customers. They will provide a variety of support roles in the management of the large scale contracts and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). Additionally, they will assist in a variety of functions related to administration of customer proposals and purchase delivery orders. In addition to collaboration with Programs and Contracts and customers, they will have regular interaction with other DLT Sales, Accounting and other operational units.


  • Maintain customer facing email distros for specific BPAs
  • Assist to insure that DLT public contract sites are kept up-to-date.
  • Assist with updating bi-annual Program Management Reviews (PMR) briefings (i.e., org charts, formatting, etc.) and logistical planning for the PMRs
  • Communicate with customers on issues including password resets, account management, navigation of portal and process questions
  • Provide tier-1 IT/helpdesk support for the DLT Customer Portal. If ticket is escalated to IT helpdesk and Portal developers, QA resolution to ensure customer’s issue is resolved
  • Responsible for the registration of DLT on various Federal, State and Local procurement/registration sites to include password/login management
  • Completion of Representation and Certifications
  • Contract closeout management
  • Other job related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional abilities with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
  • Ability to make sound business and personnel decisions with limited guidance
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop consensus and drive cross divisional teams to achieve company goals
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to manage and resolve conflict
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
