    A Sales Representative is responsible for selling leading technology software and services to business and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the following duties

    Responsibilities

    • Promotes the sales of products through direct solicitation via telephone:
    • Maintains records of calls made
    • Builds relationships with vendor sales representatives
    • Maintains a territory with a sales quota
    • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from trade shows, direct mail responses, aged leads dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources
    • Handles inbound sales lead to calls to convert calls into sales
    • Builds and maintains customer relationships
    • Prepares reports of business transactions
    • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
    • Works with outsider sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems
    • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 1-2 years of sales experience 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Familiarity with working database software
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to make cold calls
    • Strong  time management skills
