The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving net new sales revenues and renewals in the FED DOD space for the Digital Design division, with a focus on Autodesk software. This person will be located at DLT; and work primarily with vendors, partners, DLT counterparts, to work on an existing customer base, as well as drive and grow new opportunities.


  • Promotes the sales of products through direct solicitation via telephone
  • Maintains records of calls made
  • Builds relationships with vendor sales representatives
  • Maintains a territory with a sales quota
  • Meet or exceed quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from trade shows, direct mail responses, existing database, business directories, Internet Websites, and other sources.
  • Handles inbound sales leads, converting calls into sales
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships
  • Prepares reports of business transactions
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
  • Works with outside sales representatives from Autodesk and the Autodesk resellers to ensure proper territory management
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems
  • Other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must become proficient in selling Autodesk products and obtain extensive agency knowledge of designated accounts
  • College degree required
  • 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with working database software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
