    The Senior Program Manager (SrPM) is the dedicated Program Manager for the DISA Host Based Security System (HBSS) Program.  The SrPM supports all aspects of the DISA HBSS Program, including the procurement and deployment of McAfee software gold support and platinum support for the existing DOD Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) implementation for DISA’s security suite (HBSS) through potential phase-out and end-of-life for both CONUS and OCONUS sites.

    The SrPM will be responsible for the management of three (3) DLT-badged McAfee consultants, McAfee support and platinum support, which includes continuing access to McAfee updates, changes, patches, upgrades, associated documentation, vulnerability identification, and related information for maintaining DISA’s security suite (HBSS and AV/AS). The SrPM will occasionally travel to remote DISA sites to education and evangelize the requirements and benefits of the McAfee HBSS program in support of McAfee's and DISA's mission and business objectives.

    Key activities include:

    • Partner closely with sales support functions at DLT and McAfee as needed to promote DISA knowledge, relationships, and success amongst teams
    • Serve as team lead and liaison between DISA (including CSRA Consultants), DLT and McAfee
    • Collection, QA and submission of contract deliverables such as status reports, deficiency reports, documentation,  platinum support and after action reports
    • Assemble, QA and submission of team deliverables, reports and other program artifacts
    • Evangelize HBSS program benefits to internal and external DISA organizations and stakeholders
    • Prepare and conduct Program Management Reviews as required by the Customer
    • Maintain and fortify relationships with program stakeholders including contracting officers, agency executives and other decision makers
    • Coordinate and lead meetings between DISA, DLT and McAfee
    • Collaborate with DLT and McAfee Sales teams to assist with capture and proposal of net new DISA contracts and programs

     

    Responsibilities

    • Directly responsible for all aspects of the DISA HBSS Program
    • Maintains and manages the Customer interface at senior levels of the Customer organization
    • Manages team of DLT-badged McAfee Consultants
    • Occasional travel to DISA sites to educate and evangelize HBSS Program
    • Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates program related issues, scope changes, variance and contingencies that may arise during the programs life-cycle
    • Facilitates amicable solutions and manages Stakeholder expectations
    • Prepares reports, charts, graphs and other statistical data to quantify program performance and overall value to DISA, McAfee and DLT
    • Supports production and presentation of Program Reviews, In-Process Reviews, and other presentations for program Stakeholders
    • Maintains and constantly improves effective communication and working relationships with DISA, McAfee and other team members
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated professional experience with acquisition, sourcing and program management for the Department of the Defense (DoD) and/or DISA
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Excellent understanding of government contracting
    • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting projects
    • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent desired
    • Exceptional abilities with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
    • Ability to make sound business and personnel decisions without guidance

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to develop consensus and drive matrixed teams to achieve program goals
    • Superior customer service skills and ability to manage and resolve conflict
    • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
