  • Overview

    As an Order Management Specialist II you will support sales through the entire order process. You will drive efficiency and accuracy in the order management process.


    • Receive and process orders
    • Enter orders and required information into database
    • Provide order confirmations to customers
    • Contact appropriate parties to clarify order issues and obtain any additional information
    • Verify order information for accuracy, completeness, and assurance requirements have been met 
    • Respond to and manage customer service issues
    • Partner with vendors and DLT's AP POC when credit is needed
    • Work with sales team to ensure accurate information in orders
    • Partner with Accounting to confirm invoices are received and processed in accounting system
    • Manage and update order backlog
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education:  High School Diploma (Degree Preferred) 
    • 1-3 years relevant work experience
    • Experience providing exceptional customer service
    • Can pay close attention to detail and problem solve
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
    • Ability to work overtime during quarter end closing
    • Proficient in use of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge and understanding of government contracting
    • Experience processing sales orders for the public sector
    • Experience with CRM and accounting systems
    • Experience achieving low order error rates
    • Experience with high volume order processing
