  • Overview

    Sells leading technology software and services to business and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the following duties:


    • Promote the sales of products through direct solicitation via telephone
    • Maintain records of all calls made
    • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from trade shows, direct mail responses, aged leads, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources
    • Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services
    • Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales
    • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
    • Facilitate product demos with partners to qualified customers on request
    • Emphasize salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained
    • Sell and help coordinate customer training
    • Build and maintain customer relationships
    • Prepare reports of business transactions
    • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
    • Work with sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date
    • Investigate and resolve customer problems
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • College Degree required
    • Sales or marketing experience preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Effective teleselling skills
    • Familiarity with working with Database Software
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to multi task multiple priorities
    • Ability to make cold calls
    • Strong time management skills
