    As a Sales Representative II, Combo you'll identify, nurture, and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts on a monthly basis, and track customer data. This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to improve business and create solutions that serve both DLT’s vendor clients and customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain South-Soutwest territory
    • Conduct strategic planning including call planning, account planning, and territory planning with channel partners and vendor
    • Develop successful relationships with vendor representatives, channel partners and customers
    • Make outbound contact with potential and existing customers to follow-up on open opportunities, qualify leads, sell products and services
    • Engage in prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and perform initial customer needs assessment
    • Follow up on renewal opportunities to maintain a best-in-class renewal rate
    • Manage business, customer activity, and data in CRM
    • Manage and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting 
    • Investigate and resolve customer problems
    • Develop quarterly marketing plans to promote solutions
    • Continue education by maintaining and updating knowledge of products, selling skills, processes and sales tools
    • Achieve assigned sales quota
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
    • 2+ years quota carrying sales experience
    • Proven ability to attain and exceed sales quota goals
    • Ability to build and sustain quality relationships, while providing excellent customer service
    • Demonstrate effective selling skills including communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing techniques 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate well on the phone 
    • Experience using and managing CRM 
    • Proven experience forecasting within +/- 10% accuracy consistently  

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Business Acumen 
    • Experience in IT and public sector sales
