  • Overview

    The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving net new sales revenues and renewals in the FED/ SLED/ Commercial markets for the Emerging Technology vendors. This person will be located at DLT and work primarily with vendors and DLT counterparts, supporting the existing and future business lines. This person will report directly to the Emerging Technology manager based on sector and will need to be skilled at working both horizontally and vertically across the sales organizations of DLT and within the vendor along with the assigned territory of customers across all sectors of business.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with vendors and DLT counterparts to support the existing and future business lines
    • Conduct strategic planning including call planning, account planning, and territory planning
    • Engage in prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and perform initial customer needs assessment
    • Continue education and knowledge of products, selling skills, processes, and sales tools
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (Business/Marketing preferred) and a minimum of 3 years of successful inside sales experience
    • Prior experience within the technology and/or government marketplace
