  • Overview

    The Sales Representative is responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities for IT Infrastructure offerings within Public Sector accounts to meet annual revenue and margin goals. He/she will develop and maintain relationships within the ecosystem of manufacturer and partner reps to include Veritas, NetApp, Quantum, and Pure.


    • Develop successful relationships with manufacturer sales representatives
    • Responsible for lead identification and opportunity development for assigned territory
    • Attain sales goals & performance objectives
    • Overcome technical and business objections
    • Develop efficient and creative sales and marketing strategies for the assigned territory
    • Create and track opportunity registrations
    • Ability to complete activity reports and forecast on time and accurately
    • Be aware of all competitive activities within major accounts
    • Have good disciplined use of CRM and administrative tools
    • Perform sales presentations for clients showing the products and services. Prepare pricing information for review to management and make recommendations to secure wins
    • Other job related duties as assigned


    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2-4 years of sales experience
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to travel for customer visits or conferences (<10%)
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Strong time management skills
    • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Security Clearance
    • IT Sales experience
    • Experience selling to Federal, State and Local, or Higher Education customers
