  • Overview

    The Human Resource Specialist supports the company employee value proposition and company mission by ensuring assigned HR procedures and programs run efficiently and effectively in aligned with the defined position responsibilities, associated HR business objectives, and success metrics.



    • Serve as main HRIS practitioner on HR team for payroll, time off policies, timecards, processing benefits enrollments, data entry and data integrity for semi-monthly payroll
    • Prepare and update employment records related to all hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating employees
    • Maintain payroll change report to communicate with accounting team
    • Process timecards for all nonexempt employees to include monitoring overtime and straight time
    • Run weekly 401(k) reports from retirement plan portal and process employee deferral changes and loan repayments
    • Manage and own (in partnership with the hiring manager) the onboarding process after offer acceptance
    • Act as the first line of HR support for onboarding for Day One HR activities and during the 90 day plan
    • Schedule monthly DLT 101 Orientation for new hires
    • Prepare DLT 101 new employee participant guides and related orientation materials
    • Provide support for personnel relations matters assigned by VP and Director of HR
    • Respond to all verification of employment requests 
    • Process 1099 contractor agreements and statements of work
    • Reconcile VP of HR’s two corporate credit cards monthly
    • Process Education Reimbursement Requests
    • Process and track all HR invoices and forward to A/P for payment
    • Run reports for HR and other departments
    • Process board member’s quarterly payments
    • Create birthday and anniversary announcements and distribute
    • Manage DLT HR Intranet page and employee milestones page
    • Coordinate and manage all aspects of annual team trip travel plans
    • Manage relationship and system administration of company travel portal
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 years relevant work experience
    • Experience using and managing HR technology such as workforce management, performance management, and travel booking tools
    • Experience managing employee reporting while maintaining data integrity and exceptional attention to detail
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Proficiency in MS Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PHR and/or SHRM-PC
    • Passion for human resources and learning and development
    • High level of emotional intelligence 
    • ADP WorkforceNow experience
