  • Overview

    The Lead Development Representative plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and qualifying leads to help drive the growth of DLT’s clients’ public sector business.


    • Conduct lead generation activities via call campaigns to uncover new business opportunities for DLT’s clients
    • Set up and confirm meetings between DLT clients and government customers
    • Document all calls and other sales activities and customer/client interaction in company CRM and create and link to appropriate opportunities in the system
    • Establish and maintain ongoing business relationships with DLT client reps, partner reps, and government customers to grow DLT contact database and overall public sector network
    • Meet and exceed established performance goals
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Daily Work Activities and Context

    • Conduct lead development calls
    • Document activities in company systems
    • Set meetings and track results
    • Proactively pursue knowledge of relevant client products and public sector markets
    • Assist in misc. team oriented project to build additional pipeline

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: College Degree or equivalent work or military experience
    • Experience(s): 1-3 years of sales experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Business or marketing internship experience
    • Experience selling technology products or services
    • CRM experience
    • MS Office
