    DLT is looking for a dynamic, proactive, and proven leader to join the Corporate Marketing team as Manager, Brand & Marketing Communications.  This role will work in close partnership with both the Campaign Management and Marketing Operations team and will report into the Director of Marketing.   

    This strategic role must work well across the marketing team and other groups to support the DLT brand and client co-marketing objectives. This position oversees the PR/Social Media, Digital Design/Content functions for DLT, as well as Brand Management and Marketing Communications.

    This person will own internal/external communications, public and media relations, press releases, social strategy, editorial opportunities, award submissions, content management, and corporate wide awareness programs around our contract vehicle portfolio, 6 strategic tech domains, and 5 core value services.

    This position is responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and demand generation strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth and is aligned with the overall corporate direction.  

    This role will help manage a portfolio of marketing programs designed to create awareness, increase relevance, and drive profitability across key DLT business areas, including:

    • Online Buyer Community Programs such as GovDesignHub.com
    • Enterprise Agreement Platform and Confirmed Stateside Support offerings
    • DLT’s Cloud Navigator Program
    • Programmatic and annualized campaigns tied to Public Sector buying cycles

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology and business challenges facing government agencies, and able to produce and promote marketing content (social media, eBooks, webinar series, blogs, case studies, landing pages, videos, etc) to support DLT’s marketing initiatives. He/she must have experience in customer segmentation, persona development, and campaign management to build an overarching content strategy to strengthen DLT's position in the Public Sector marketplace.  As a strategic member of the Marketing Leadership team, candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting to executive leadership.

    Responsibilities

    The Manager, Brand & Marketing Communications will be focused across three key areas of the DLT Marketing Department; Brand Management, Content Development, and Shared Services Support.

     

    Brand Management

    • Develop, execute, and manage company positioning and messaging
    • Work closely with VP of HR to establish communication and training plans for branding initiatives and programs tied to DLT's career pages, hiring practices, and recruitment efforts
    • Work closely with leadership to coordinate strategic media opportunities and promote DLT as a thought leader in Public Sector
    • Create brand management and content development governance structures to guide strategic content creation.
    • Support business development growth and expansion of new technology companies and channel partners into the DLT portfolio through effective brand awareness, thought leadership and creative campaign execution.
    • Maintain centralized library (DLT Brand Central) to help ensure entire organization is using most current and approved messaging and assets to promote DLT’s business across all core constituencies.
    • Be a member of the DLT Social Committee and contribute to events and communications to support DLT culture and morale
    • Develop and manage the Marketing Content Calendar and DLT Style Guide to ensure uniform writing style and tone across all communications
    • Manage Marketing Communications, Campaign, and Program Budgets effectively

    Content Operations

    • Build out full year strategic plan aligning all corporate campaigns are tied to strategic priorities.
    • Draft and distribute internal marketing communications, including corporate campaigns and press releases
    • Own and coordinate Marketing Editorial Calendar with input from internal SMEs and stakeholders to ensure alignment across all departments and in support of DLT’s business objectives and strategic growth plan
    • Strategize, develop and deploy content marketing plans in support of team and company objectives
    • Create and maintain strategic marketing personas to guide content creation targeted at key DLT audiences across the public sector and business communities.
    • Manage marketing communications channel including monthly newsletters, blog communications, and other active subscriptions.
    • Produce video and advertising content to promote DTL’s core value services to targeted audiences
    • Establish and maintain Content Management System or related structures to support scalable development of compelling brand messages.
    • Reviews monthly analytic metrics across all marcomm channels and makes recommendations to improve performance across established KPIs and related metrics
    • Inform digital marketing strategies across corporate website, blog, social media channels and through ABM to drive increased revenue and build brand awareness for DLT.
    • Create and edit various marketing materials (website, blogs, email campaigns, brochures, video scripts, leadership messaging)
    • Draft and distribute internal marketing communications, including corporate campaigns and press releases

    Shared Services

    • Manage shared services function including graphic design, copy writers, social media specialists and external vendors to support key DLT clients and partners business objectives
    • Oversees internal team and external vendors to develop and execute corporate marketing communication strategies and deliverables
    • Help establish and manage scalable model for delivering marketing services to technology companies and channel partners engaged with DLT.
    • Promote content and campaigns created by vendor marketing team across web and social media channels
    • Other job related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 6-9 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in content development and account base marketing best practices
    • Strong background in managing brand activities for business
    • Able to articulate IT solutions in a business-focused message and understand the needs of public sector industry and FFYE strategies
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing
    • Knowledge of SEO, digital advertising, persona based marketing, white space analysis and social media best practices

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with CMS, MAP (Marketo, Eloqua), and CRM systems
    • Self-motivated, self-starter with a track record for leading projects and campaigns
    • Must have the ability to meet and deliver content strategy and branding initiatives to Executive Leadership
    • Public Sector marketing experience preferred, campaign management collaboration experience a plus
    • Excellent people and relationship-building skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and vendor partners
    • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decision making skills
    • Project Management of complex campaign and content plans throughout the project planning lifecycle
