The Corporate Counsel position presents the opportunity for a business minded attorney to put their legal knowledge and problem-solving skills to work in support of a high energy sales organization in selling enterprise IT products and services to public sector customers. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and serving as an escalation point for DLT’s Corporate Sales, Contracts, Programs and Proposal teams as they work with various client account teams selling products and services for over 70 different vendors through more than 50 contract vehicles and hundreds of different VAR and Integrator partners
- Negotiating with business leaders and counsel to sign new vendor clients and resale partners
- Overseeing contract compliance
- Managing various corporate legal matters including template development, training, claims and protests, government relations and legal research to develop corporate positions
